Inspection of vehicles imported from non-EU countries

The entry into circulation of vehicles coming from abroad is subject to a prior technical-administrative check by a Technical Service recognized by the Transport Malta Authority.
–Greenkar Technical Service Ltd has been designated by the Maltese Authority to carry out these activities with the final issuance of an SVA (Single Vehicle Approval) certificate. The UVIA Association (Used Vehicles Importers Association) has entrusted the organization of Greenkar Technical Service Ltd for the inspections of vehicles imported by its members.

What We Do

GreenKar TS is able to perform numerous types of tests and inspections of testing activities according to EU and UN/ECE Regulations on road vehicles of various categories and devices intended for them:

Acoustic tests

Dimensional tests and masses

Thermometric tests

Dynamic tests​

Mechanical tests (static and dynamic)

Visual tests

Photometric tests

Dynamometer test

Electrical and/or electromagnetic tests

For tests carried out directly, GreenKar TS has all the necessary equipment to carry out the activity. Objective evidence of the outcome of the activity is the final, complete and detailed Report, which is delivered to the Customer
